If you are planning to carry out building works that will require party wall notices, I can produce these notices for you so that they are legally compliant and cover the correct works. In addition, Land Registry searches can be carried out to establish the correct legal ownership of any neighbours.

Even the best planned projects run into problems. Anxiety, anger, threats and hollow promises rarely help. If a dispute arises over a related building issue, I can help to analyse the conflict and suggest a solution that will spare all parties expensive legal costs, delay and anguish. If another surveyor is involved in the dispute resolution, along with myself, a sensible, well negotiated solution is still by far the best and likeliest outcome.

Either working for just one neighbour or for both, I can prepare a party wall award for you and ensure that it includes all the clauses required to ensure a properly administered project. It will cover matters such as time frame, access, insurance, protection, working hours, repairs to damage and fees. It is a legally binding document and can only be appealed at the County Court.
